Translator's Submission
This guide to Hajj & Umrah is the faithful translation of Urdu version of “Allah ke Mehman” and “Prophet’s Mehman”. It was a difficult assignment for a sinner like me to translate a religious guide in a manner as to maintain its original perception. Being an spiritual and an invigorating work I felt an inexplicable urge to accomplish it, though for that I had to refer several religious works in search of appropriate words and phrases, especially for Ahadith.
Conscious of my limitations, I accept my shortcomings and mistakes and pray to Allah to condone my lapses. Some religious words have been adopted in their original associated with or without translation as they comprehend within them the correct perception.
I hope this English version of “Allah ke Mehman” shall be helpful in the performance of Hajj and Umrah by the English speaking Muslims in Europe and America.
